The International Crisis Group (ICG) is an independent organisation working to prevent wars and shape policies that will build a more peaceful world. Crisis Group sounds the alarm to prevent deadly conflict. They build support for the good governance and inclusive politics that enable societies to flourish. They engage directly with a range of conflict actors to seek and share information, and to encourage intelligent action for peace.

ODS was contracted to provide coaching services to ICG staff in the specific area of Human Resources. The coaching offered personalised advice, feedback and support. Input was provided on specific HR methods, including 360 degree assessments, leadership and executive management issues.

More recently, ODS conducted the external evaluation of the core activities of the ICG 2017-2018 under a grant from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We also conducted the external evaluation of ICGs EU project, “Harnessing independent early warning expertise to bridge the warning-response gap and enhance conflict prevention”.
